A Pain Point is a researched opportunity profile, not a trend summary. Each one includes: the specific problem, the named companies experiencing it, a buyer profile, funding comps from the category, a pricing model, a build-vs-buy analysis, and four scores (Opportunity, Problem, Feasibility, Why Now). It takes the same format every time so you can compare across issues.
When do the paid tiers launch?
Insider launches when Pain Browser hits 2,500 subscribers or 12 issues are archived — whichever comes first. Operator ships alongside the AgentShield Build Companion. The Syndicate opens at 1,000 paying members. The milestones are public so you can track progress. Join free now and you will be first to know.
What are Build Companions?
Build Companions are $149 standalone digital products tied to specific Pain Points — go-deeper research, build briefs, or sourcing guides. They are available à la carte to anyone or included free with Operator and Syndicate memberships.
Who writes Pain Browser?
JT Taylor. Federal law enforcement and intelligence community background. NSA fellow. CISSP, CCSP. He has run products that have been credited with preventing significant fraud losses and has testified before Congress on what works in fraud and identity.
What is the AI agent and when does it launch?
The AI agent lets Operator members query the full Pain Point corpus in plain language. You can ask things like 'which Pain Points score above 8 on Opportunity and involve KYB?' or 'show me all pain points targeting mid-market banks.' It launches with the Operator tier when AgentShield ships.
